My Rating: Better then a new pair of knee high socks, [5 stars]

My Comments: This is the most AMAZING movie I have ever seen. It wouldn't be fair to compare it to ANYTHING because in comparison to any other film it would knock it off the charts. The graphics were amazing and the IMAX 3D wasn't jump in your lap. The story was unique and well put together. Nothing was over played at all and the movie itself was so original.

Recommend?: I recommend this movie to anyone 13+. Even if you don 't like SiFi or "animated" movies, this is NOT the same. I recommend that you see if JUST for the quality if you don't find the story interseting.

Overall: This movie is the shiz.

Disney's A Christmas Carol

My Rating: Rental
Recommend it? Even though this movie is rated PG, it sometimes even scared me with its frightening graphics move quickly. I wouldn’t take kids under 5 to see in IMAX 3D. However, the movie tries hard but the dazzling effects distracted from the terrific acting by Jim Carrey and Gary Oldman.
Overall: It was okay but I wouldn't see it again.

Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince

My Rating: Rental[3 stars]

My Comments: The graphics and costumes were well put together as for the set, I do not see the point in changing the set every movie. Not drastically, but nonetheless it has been changed in one way or another. As well as props...well they were changed a bit too but still blended in just the same. The movie was good though.

Recommend?: I recommend this to people who don’t care how much alike the movie is to the book for many things were added and changed. The movie, have I warn you, focuses a lot around the romance.

Overall: It was good if you don’t

Star Trek

Summary: In a prelude to the Star Trek the Original Series, the U.S.S Enterprise goes to assist Vulcan from a natural disaster to discover a Romulus from the future who is seeking revenge for the impending destruction of Romulus.

My Comments: I must say that this is one of the few good movies I’ve seen recently. I couldn’t find anything really wrong with it to be honest, it had a good balance of romance, action, and comedy. Chris Pine and Zachary Quinto really are a dynamic duo.

Recommend?: I recommend this movie to anyone who likes a good action movie. I’ve heard that a lot of original Trekkies didn’t care for the movie because of the minor changes but I think it was great.

Run Time: 107 minutes

Summary: Born 200 years ago, Logan and Victor, 2 mutant brothers, depend on each other to make it by. Grown up to become fighters and killers they fight in US wars through the years. In modern times, Stryker, a fierce US colonel, recruits them and several other mutants as weapons. When Logan quits and falls in love with a local school teacher and refuses to rejoin, Stryker sends out murderous Victor. Now Logan seeks revenge.

My Rating: Rental[3 stars]

My Comments: This movie was good in the idea and on paper, on the big screen it lacked in graphics. There were parts that you could tell were horribly done. Even though Hugh Jackman tried in this movie, it was a huge cliché when it came to the script.

Recommend?: If you like the X-Men comic books, this movie is for you. However, I have warned you of its faults.

Overall: It was a good movie to see on a Friday night but I don’t plan on seeing it again anytime soon.

Summary: In the mid 1980’s masked heroes are being kept under tight government watch, but when one of the masked heroes is killed a murder investigation is begun. The masked heroes reunite to find the killer and end up discovering an even bigger plot.

My Rating: Worth the money[4 stars]

My Comments: I really enjoyed this movie thought other people may have thought it was bad. However, I recommend reading the graphic novel before seeing the movie.

Recommend?: I recommend this to any die hard comic fanatics, it was very close to the book with the exception of a few small changes.

Overall: It was a well drawn together movie.
